Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf alias Gus Ipul responded to the issue of the alleged perpetrator of the explosion

who is said to be a victim of bullying.
“That (the alleged perpetrator is claimed to be a victim of bullying) will wait for an announcement from the Police (Polri), so we should not speculate,” he stressed after visiting the victim at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Sunday (9/11).
“For this case (the explosion at SMA 72 North Jakarta) once again we do not dare to speculate, we are waiting for an official explanation from the Police,” continued Gus Ipul.

Nevertheless, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf warned against the dangers of bullying or bullying.He emphasized that bullying is one of three things that must be prevented, apart from physical and sexual violence and intolerance.
Gus Ipul emphasized that he was not specifically discussing the explosion case that occurred at SMA 72. He only invited all parties to prevent bullying.
“In fact, it’s not just this case, but in general we have to prevent bullying in schools… We hope that everyone will realize that bullying has long-lasting consequences. In the future, the victim could become the perpetrator,” warned the minister.
President Prabowo Subianto’s subordinate then explained that the victims of the SMA 72 explosion who were being treated at RSIJ Cempaka Putih were still traumatized.Therefore, the Ministry of Social Affairs together with the National Police and the hospital will carry out a trauma healing process.
However, he cannot confirm how long the trauma healing process will take to complete.Gus Ipul emphasized that everything depends on the condition of each victim.
“Our team, of course together with the parents, will meet regularly. We will carry out assessments, including with the KPAI (Indonesian Child Protection Commission),” he explained.
“The Ministry of Social Affairs provides the necessary support after this hospital, starting from rehabilitation, recovery periods, until perhaps later if needed with empowerment programs,” continued Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah.
Currently, there are still 13 patients being treated at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital and all of them are claimed to be improving.Gus Ipul detailed that 11 people were in the inpatient room, 1 patient in the High Care Unit (HCU), and 1 other patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The previous explosion incident occurred at SMA 72 which is located on Jalan Prihatin Number 87, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB.
The explosion came from a mosque located within the school area.At that time, the SMA 72 mosque was filled with congregants performing Friday prayers.
The total number of victims in the explosion incident reached 96 people.There are still 28 patients being treated, namely 13 people at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, 14 people at Yarsi Hospital, and 1 other person at Pertamina Jaya Hospital.
