Arifah added that the government will continue to monitor the needs of women and children affected by disasters, such as underwear and sanitary napkins.
“Women’s reproductive needs are different from men’s, such as sanitary napkins, underwear, and food for children are different from those for adults. This has also been provided by the government with maximum efforts,” he said.
Furthermore, the PPPA Ministry has also provided trauma or trauma healing services to Sumatran disaster victims.This is done by collaborating with a number of parties.
“Not only from our ministry. From the TNI, Polri, then related agencies, from the Ministry of Social Affairs, from KPPPA everyone has done their best, yes, trauma healing for women and children has been carried out from the first day we went there,” he said.
