According to Yassierli, hundreds of TKA were employed without having a Plan for the Use of Foreign Workers (RPTKA).
This was discovered from complaints to the ‘Report Minister of Manpower’ channel and was immediately investigated by the Ministry of Manpower team.

“So there was a complaint about a company in Banten Province, an inspection was carried out by the Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Manpower and the Provincial Labor Inspectorate. It was found that 583 foreign workers were working without RPTKA approval,” he said at a press conference, Thursday (20/11).
However, he did not name the companies that violated these rules.However, he confirmed that he had issued an inspection warrant and imposed a fine on the company.
“The supervisory team has issued an inspection note and forced the company to expel them from the workplace because they did not have work permits. Then the company was subject to a fine of IDR 588 million which has been paid to the state treasury,” he explained.
In the last four months, the Ministry of Manpower received 18 reports about illegal TKA.Of that amount, the fine collected was IDR 7 billion.
“The use of foreign workers without documents is related to the ratification of the RPTKA with a total fine of more than IDR 7 billion from our 18 complaints,” he explained.
The Ministry of Manpower also received complaints from companies that did not register 220 of their workers in the BPJS Employment Social Security program.
“We received reports about jobs not being included in the social security program. In one case, a company in the West Java region did not include 220 jobs in the social security program,” he concluded.
