“Government agencies, both central and regional, as well as private parties who manage education are not taking it seriously

,” said Pigai at his office, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/11).
He gave educational institutions, including the private sector, an ultimatum for one month to seriously create regulations that could eliminate bullying.
On the other hand, Pigai said his ministry would also prepare a Minister of Human Rights Regulation on anti-bullying.
“Within one month at least there must be concrete action, especially in terms of maximum regulations,” he said.
“If this is not done, then the Ministry of Human Rights will issue a Minister of Human Rights Regulation which regulates anti-
bullying
,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, for MH (13), who was a victim of bullying, his health condition deteriorated to the point that he was weak and unable to carry out any activities.
The victim’s older brother, Rizky, said his younger brother had become a victim

several times since the Introduction to the School Environment (MPLS) period.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Tangerang Education and Culture Service (Dindikbud), Deden Deni, stated that his party had mediated with the parents of the victim and the alleged perpetrator.
