The list of draw pots for the 2026 World Cup was announced by FIFA on Tuesday (25/11).The announcement also informed about the drawing procedures for the 2026 World Cup which will take place on Friday (5/12).
“With less than 200 days remaining until the start of the first 48-team World Cup, the procedure for determining the composition of 12 groups consisting of four teams has been confirmed,” wrote FIFA.

From the pot announcement, three host countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico will be placed in Pot 1 along with the country with the highest FIFA ranking: Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
