Rini said she really supports the plan to increase civil servant salaries.However, he reminded that the plan depends on the government’s fiscal capacity.
“I am also happy if ASN salaries can be increased, but of course we have to pay attention to fiscal readiness,” he said.
The government’s plan to increase ASN salaries in 2026 has been around since June 30 2025. The plan is stated in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 79 of 2025 concerning Updating the 2025 RKP.
The latest 2025 RKP document, salary increases for ASN, TNI/Polri, and state officials from eight Best Fast Results Programs.
“Increase the salaries of ASN, especially for teachers, lecturers, health workers, counselors, TNI/Polri and state officials,” quoted from the attachment to Presidential Decree 79/2025, quoted Saturday (20/9).
Minister of Finance Purbaya said the government was still discussing the plan.
“I don’t know yet, I’ll discuss it with my friends at the office,” said Purbaya at the Ministry of Finance Office, Jakarta, Monday (27/10).
