promised to visit Indonesia.This was conveyed by Putin when receiving the President’s visit

During the meeting held at the Russian Presidential Palace, Prabowo invited Putin to visit Indonesia.Prabowo suggested that Putin take time to visit Indonesia in 2026 or 2027.
“Thank you very much, I will definitely do it,” Putin was quoted as saying

Prabowo then joked.”India shouldn’t be the only place you visit,” he said.
“With pleasure, thank you very much,” said Putin with a smile.
Prabowo continued his state visit to Moscow, after completing his tour of Pakistan.
In an official release, the Kremlin stated that the talks between the two leaders focused on issues of strategic partnership between Russia and Indonesia, as well as several current international and regional issues.
Prabowo’s visit to Russia is not the first time in 2025. Last June, he also visited the Land of the Red Bear to meet Putin.
The meeting resulted in an agreement on direct flights between Russia and Indonesia, increasing the number of Indonesian students in Russia, and economic and trade agreements.
Not only that, the two heads of state also gave each other gifts.Prabowo gave a statue of an eagle and an officer’s sword to Putin.
“This is the Garuda [statue]. Garuda is the symbol of our country,” said the Indonesian president.
They walked back to the next table.There, Putin showed another gift to Prabowo, namely an officer’s sword.
“And this is an officer’s sword,” Putin said.
Putin was seen taking a coin near the sword box and giving it to Prabowo.He then thanked him for giving him the coin.
