, uploaded a clarification after its founder, Fransiska Dwi Melani alias Melani Mecimapro, became a suspect in a case of alleged embezzlement of concert funds

In a statement on social media on Monday (8/12), the promoter said they had “carried out business operations in accordance with the governance principles that apply in the entertainment industry.”

They argue that the income obtained from content is not only net profit, but also for the sustainability of the company’s operations, including production costs, venue rental, talent payment costs, licensing, and team operations.
In addition, they said the concert industry has a production and investment cycle that is “long, complex, and involves many parties and stages” so that fund management is “carried out based on integrated and sustainable budget planning.”
“We emphasize that Mecimapro is always committed to carrying out operations professionally and responsibly,” said Mecimapro.
“Currently, we are handling all forms of questions, clarifications and processes related to the news circulating through channels that are in accordance with applicable legal provisions,” he continued.
“We also continue to carry out internal evaluations to remind the company of transparency and accountability standards in the future,” said Mecimapro.
Fransiska Dwi Melani alias Melani Mecimapro was previously reported by PT.Media Inspirasi Bangsa (MIB) which is Mecimapro’s investor for the TWICE group music concert in Jakarta on December 23 2023.
PT MIB reported Melani Mecimapro on suspicion of embezzlement of funds.PT.The MIB discovered problems and allegations of fraud and embezzlement of funds over the concert which caused the company to “experience financial losses of tens of billions of rupiah”.
Melani himself has been named a suspect and has been detained at Polda Metro Jaya since the end of October 2025. In early November 2025, Melani Mecimapro opened his voice and apologized for the case.
“There are many mistakes I have made which have probably and certainly disappointed many people. On many occasions, I may have seemed arrogant and cold because I was covering up my lack of self-confidence,” wrote Melani in a statement received by hitclubapk3 Indonesia, Friday (7/11).
“We are very, very far from perfect, but my enthusiasm never dies to present the best.”

On Tuesday (2/12), Melani underwent an indictment trial at the South Jakarta District Court.He was charged with embezzling IDR 10 billion in TWICE concert production costs.
He was accused by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of committing embezzlement as regulated and punishable by crime in Article 372 of the Criminal Code relating to embezzlement or as regulated and punishable by crime in Article 378 of the Criminal Code concerning fraud.
“As for holding the TWICE Korean Pop music concert, PT Melania Citra Permata received income of IDR 35,118,957,020 (Thirty-five billion one hundred eighteen million nine hundred and fifty-seven thousand and twenty rupiah),” said the prosecutor.
However, the prosecutor accused Melani of not carrying out the obligations as stated in the agreement with PT MIB, namely production costs of IDR 10 billion, profits of 23 percent, and concert financial reports.He was also accused of ignoring electronic mail from PT MIB.

“However, the Defendant did not make the payment of Rp. 10 billion to PT Media Inspirasi Bangsa, but instead made a Giro cash withdrawal for purposes other than paying project returns to PT Media Inspirasi Bangsa,” said the prosecutor.
Melani Mecimapro is scheduled to read the exception or defense on Tuesday, December 9 2025.
