said the government was increasing incentives or allowances for
honorary teacher
from IDR 300 thousand to IDR 400 thousand in 2026.
Mu’ti conveyed this when he was the leader of the 2025 Teachers’ Day commemoration ceremony in Surabaya, Tuesday (25/11).
“Then last year’s honorary teachers received an allowance or incentive assistance from us of IDR 300,000. Starting next year we will try to increase it to IDR 400,000 per month,” said Mu’ti.

Apart from that, said Mu’ti, the government will also continue the training program for teachers in 2026 which was previously running.
“There is training for teachers who have taken part in coding training, in-depth learning, sensitivity and so on. We will continue it again in the future,” he said.
Furthermore, Mu’ti said that his party also provides scholarships to 150,000 teachers with a value of IDR 3 million per month.
In protecting teachers from educational problems, his party has also signed a cooperation agreement with the National Police through a mechanism
restorative justice
.
“Issues related to education and discipline are resolved peacefully through restorative justice, unlike today where many teachers have to deal with the law,” he said.
“We want teachers to be calm in teaching, focused on educating. In this way, teachers can provide the best dedication and dharma service to make the nation smarter,” he added.
