The Mali U-23 national team has problems recovering the condition of players ahead of the second leg clash against
U-23 Indonesian National Team
at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Tuesday (18/11).
Mali won 3-0 over the Indonesian U-23 National Team in the first match, Saturday (15/11).However, Mali considers a three-day break for the second match not enough.
Even so, Mali U-23 coach Fousseni Diawara said his team was still serious about fighting the Indonesian U-23 National Team.

“We have a little time to recover. We will prepare for this match very seriously,” said Diawara, Monday (17/11).
Diawara will overcome the problem of limited recovery time by rotating players for the second leg.
“The goal is to play a good match, see some players who haven’t played much,” said Diawara.
Even though they won 3-0 over Garuda Muda in the first match, Diawara still praised the team coached by Indra Sjafri.
“We knew that we were facing a good team that lost the first match and wanted to win the second match,” Diawara said.
“So, we have to focus and try seriously to play a good match.”
This trial against Mali U-23 is part of the preparations for the Indonesian U-23 National Team towards the upcoming 2025 SEA Games.
Currently the U-23 National Team still has 30 players.Coach Indra Sjafri will hold an evaluation to trim the squad to 23 people.The Indonesian U-23 national team is scheduled to leave for Thailand on Thursday (27/11).
