, Javier Jorda said Malaysia U-17 was overwhelmed by Vietnam’s pressure after the hosts took a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute.
“After they scored the first goal, all the pressure shifted to us. Vietnam counterattacked very effectively, and even though we had the ball, they controlled the tempo of the match,” Ribera said.
Harimau Muda tried to press and try to score a goal back, but always failed.Meanwhile, Vietnam U-17 appeared efficient in every opportunity they got.

“The players worked hard throughout the tournament and put in a good performance as a team. We now have several talents who can be considered for the future and the next age group,” said Ribera.
