A number of Southeast Asian countries have recently been hit by floods, leaving dozens of people dead and thousands of people fleeing.

, seven states were reported to be submerged with up to 13,782 people affected.Malaysian news agency Bernama noted that the state of Kelantan was the area worst hit by flooding.

Based on the Malaysian Ministry of Social Welfare (JKM)’s Infodisaster portal, there are 33 temporary shelter centers (PPS) that have been established in four areas of Kelantan.
Seven Malaysian states were flooded, namely Kelantan, Penang, Perlis, Perak, Kedah, Terengganu and Selangor.
In Thailand, a number of areas were also hit by floods and 33 people died.At least 10 provinces of the White Elephant Country were submerged, with Hat Yai City in Songkhla Province being the worst affected by the flood.
More than two million Thais are reportedly affected.Even so, only 13 thousand people had to evacuate.
In Vietnam, as many as 98 people died due to flooding.According to the government, more than 1,000 houses were damaged or destroyed by the floods and more than 80 thousand hectares of rice fields and plantations were also damaged.
