“The first match was really tough, because they [the Philippines] came with their first win yesterday. The Philippines played quite well and the good thing is that maybe we have to continue with our players, because we need to win, we will prepare the players with a more attacking game plan,” added Indra.
The Indonesian U-23 national team was in a difficult position.However, the defeats experienced by Malaysia and Singapore yesterday made the Garuda team’s hopes of qualifying reappear.
Malaysia lost 0-2 to Vietnam in the final Group B match, Thursday (11/12) afternoon WIB.Meanwhile, Singapore is certain to be eliminated after being defeated by Thailand 0-3 in Group A, Thursday night.
