A total of eight players selected for the U-23 Indonesian National Team had to be removed from the projected squad list for the 2025 SEA Games.
The list of 23 names of U-23 National Team players was officially announced on Thursday (27/11) evening.Arkhan Fikri was one of the players dropped from the final selection.
The midfielder from Arema FC is still not fully recovered from his injury, so it is doubtful he will be able to perform optimally at the 2025 SEA Games.

Arkhan Fikri’s teammate at Arema FC, Brandon Marsel Scheunemann, also had to give up his dream of going to Thailand.He was unable to compete with other talented young defenders.
