PSSI officially released the list of nominees for Best Player in
PSSI Award 2026
on Thursday (25/12).Following are the five nominees for Best Player at the 2026 PSSI Awards.
The five nominees for the PSSI Award for the Best Player category are Rizky Ridho, Calvin Verdonk, Jay Idzes, Yakob Sayuri, and Kevin Diks.
Rizky Ridho is the captain of the Indonesian National Team mainstay in the back line of the Garuda team.Now Rizky Ridho plays at Persija Jakarta.

Yakob Sayuri is a player who can operate in the wing-back or winger sectors.This mainstay player of the Indonesian national team is now strengthening Malut United.
Jay Idzes is also the captain of the Indonesian national team who currently plays for Sassuolo in the Italian League.
Calvin Verdonk is a mainstay player for the Indonesian National Team in the wing-back or center-back sector.Now Verdonk plays in the French League with Lille.
Meanwhile, Kevin Diks is also a strong Indonesian defender who is currently working in the Bundesliga with Borussia Moncengladbach.
The winner of the Best Player award will be determined based on open voting via the PSSI website starting January 6 2026.

In total there are 17 categories up for grabs at the 2026 PSSI Awards, nine of which are performance awards which will be determined through a voting mechanism.
The nine categories where the winners are determined through voting include Best Male Player, Best Female Player, Best Male Goalkeeper, Best Female Goalkeeper, Best Young Male Player, Best Young Female Player, Best Goal, Best Assist and Best Save.
Meanwhile, eight other categories are included in the special recognition awards which do not go through a voting process and are determined directly by PSSI internally.
The special recognition awards categories include Best Referee, Best Assistant Referee, Best Football Legend, Best Asprov, Best Youth Development, Best Football Development Program, Best Supporter, and The Person Behind the Best Jersey.
