Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi
confirmed to defend the Indonesian women’s national volleyball team at the 2025 Thailand SEA Games.
After previously being absent from several tournaments, Megawati has now been called back into the Red and White team squad to face this multi-event event between countries in Southeast Asia.
Apart from calling the player nicknamed Megatron, the coach of the Indonesian women’s national volleyball team, Marcos Sugiyama, also called names such as Mediol Stiovany Yoku, Syelomitha Afrilauza Wongkar, and Yolana Bheta Pangestika.

The composition of the Srikandi team is also comprised of young players who previously appeared in the 2025 U-21 Women’s Volleyball World Cup.
U-21 national team players who have moved up to senior level include Ajeng Nur Cahaya, Pascalina Mahuze, Chelsa Berliana, Namira Ramadhanti and Indah Guretno.
Meanwhile, the star of the Indonesian U-21 national team during the U-21 World Cup tournament, Junaida Santi, was not included in the list of 14 players called up.
The volleyball branch is scheduled to start competing in the 2025 SEA Games on December 10-19.
