, Kediri, East Java issued an official appeal addressed to their alumni.The message is related to the conflict that is currently taking place within the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) recently.
The appeal was issued by two of Lirboyo’s main caregivers, namely KH Anwar Manshur and KH Abdullah Kafabihi Mahrus, to all Lirboyo alumni who are currently active as NU administrators at all levels.
This was conveyed by one of Lirboyo’s caregivers, KH Athoillah Anwar, through the spokesperson for the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, KH Oing Abdul Muid or Gus Muid.

“Masyayikh Lirboyo issued an official appeal addressed to all Lirboyo alumni who are now carrying out their mandate as NU administrators at various levels,” said Gus Muid, Thursday (27/11).
The first point, Lirboyo’s caretaker asked alumni who are now NU administrators at all levels to remain neutral in responding to recent internal conflicts within PBNU.
“To all Lirboyo alumni who currently carry out their mandate as NU administrators at various levels, regarding the dynamics at PBNU, we are asked to remain neutral, not join any groups and not take part in discussions/debates,” said Gus Muid.
Lirboyo alumni are asked to continue to focus on carrying out their service and organizational duties.They were also instructed to maintain etiquette on social media by maintaining a conducive atmosphere.
“Focus khidmah on carrying out duties, work programs, and serving the people according to their respective mandates. Maintain maruah jam’iyyah, ukhuwah nahdliyyah, social media etiquette, and continue to follow the dawuh of the community so that the atmosphere remains peaceful,” he continued.
Gus Muid said that the community also hopes that all Lirboyo alumni will maintain calm, strengthen ukhuwah, and prioritize etiquette so that organizational dynamics can be navigated wisely and with full maturity.
