Because we have to check first due to the incident between Senayan Mastercard and ASEAN, but the impact has affected the entire operations of the Jakarta MRT. So we have stopped so that we can ensure that everything is safe,” said Rendy to hitclubapk3Indonesia, Thursday (20/10)
At the time the incident took place, Rendy revealed that there were eight trains still operating, including five trains at the station and three trains on the track.

As a result of the temporary suspension of MRT operations, 524 customers were evacuated.
“We have also evacuated, we have evacuated around 524 customers as a result of this incident. So for now the condition is that we are still trying to make improvements,” he said.
Rendy explained that the Lebak Bulus MRT service to Blok M will likely operate again in the near future.He ensured that he would continue to provide the latest news via MRT Jakarta’s social media channels.
“Meanwhile, most likely we will be able to start operating again for the loop from Lebak Bulus to Blok M. So we will report this again, we will update again via MRT Jakarta social media channels later. So the initial one will indeed be opened, namely from Lebak Bulus to Block M first. The rest will still be in our efforts to be repaired and be able to operate normally again as soon as possible.”
MRT service disruption occurred due to a fallen tree at 10.26 WIB.As a result, there was a disruption in the electricity supply for MRT Jakarta trains.
“So a little update from us is that there was indeed a disruption to the Jakarta MRT service today. So actually there was an incident of a falling tree which occurred at around 10.26 am. So the result of the falling tree resulted in disruption to electricity, the electricity supply for MRT Jakarta trains,” said Rendy.
