“I advise you to continue to pay attention to the synergy and solidarity of the TNI-Polri in every journey. This year there were 1,621 cadets, consisting of 713 Akmil, 350 AAL, 210 AAU, and 348 Bhayangkara Police Academy cadets who completed integrative basic education for TNI academy and Police academy cadets.
Sigit said the TNI-Polri must play an active role in guarding and accelerating national development launched by President Prabowo Subianto as stated in the Asta Cita.
Moreover, from 2030 to 2035, Indonesia is projected to enter the peak of the demographic bonus, where the number of people of productive age will dominate the national population structure. If it is used well, Sigit believes that Indonesia will make a big leap forward, on par with other developed countries.
“The success of all these policies is of course the responsibility of all elements of the nation, including the TNI-Polri as the front guard who complement each other in solving the nation’s various challenges through their respective main tasks,” said Sigit.
Going deeper, the National Police Chief emphasized that the challenges of future tasks will also be increasingly complex.Technological disruption and global geopolitical dynamics will continue to develop and have the potential to affect the security stability and sovereignty of the Indonesian nation.
“Therefore, the cadets must of course continue to forge themselves to become quality TNI-Polri officers, because one of the main keys in welcoming the demographic bonus and the challenges of this task is the support of superior Indonesian human resources,” said Sigit.
According to Sigit, this basic education is a strategic step to instill the values of synergy and solidity from an early age in order to strengthen the emotional bonds of prospective TNI and Polri officers.
With backgrounds in different dimensions and corps, Sigit said that the cadets had been forged together in an atmosphere of togetherness, discipline and a spirit of integration which would become valuable provisions for serving society and maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
“This is in line with what Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said that, ‘TNI and Polri are two institutions which are a form of state presence, a form of upholding sovereignty, and a form of state existence’,” said Sigit.
