General Listyo Sigit Prabowo transferred and promoted 1,086 personnel consisting of high-ranking officers (Pati) and middle-ranking officers (Pamen).
Karopenmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said the transfer was part of career development, organizational refreshment, as well as efforts to strengthen the performance of the Police in responding to the challenges of future tasks.
“Mutations are a normal thing in the National Police organization. Apart from being a form of career development, this is also done to increase professionalism and optimize services to the community,” said Trunoyudo in his statement, Saturday (20/12).

The transfer of thousands of personnel was stated in five telegram letters (ST).Of the total transfers, 928 personnel received promotions or flat assignments.
One of them, the position of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Chief has been entrusted to Inspector General Edy Murbowo.Edy previously served as Head of the Community Development Corps of the National Police’s Security Maintenance Agency (Kakorbinmas Baharkam).
During this transfer, a number of policewomen were also trusted to occupy a number of strategic positions.It was recorded that 35 policewomen received promotions, including one policewoman with the rank of Brigadier General who was trusted to serve as Deputy Chief of Police for West Papua, namely Brigadier General Dr.Sulastiana.
Apart from that, as many as 17 policewomen received promotions to the position of Commissioner of Police and most of them filled the positions of Director of Investigation for the Protection of Women and Children and the Eradication of Human Trafficking (Dirres PPA and PPO) in various Polda.These include Polda Metro Jaya, West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, South Sumatra and Eastern Indonesia.
“Strengthening the structure of the PPA and PPO Directorates in a number of Polda is Polri’s commitment to improving services and protection for women, children and vulnerable groups. The placement of policewomen in these positions is expected to provide a more humane and responsive approach,” said Trunoyudo.
Not only that, six policewomen are also trusted to serve as police chiefs in various regions, including Karimun, Majalengka, Batang, Tebing Tinggi, Purbalingga and Samosir.Trunoyudo said, this assignment reflects the confidence of the National Police leadership in the capacity and leadership of Policewomen in the field.
Furthermore, the transfer this December also included 50 Pati and Pamen personnel in a special category.In detail, 79 personnel are leaving for education and 11 personnel are entering retirement.
“Through this mutation, the National Police hopes that the organization’s performance will become more solid, adaptive, and able to provide the best protection and service for all levels of society,” said Trunoyudo.
