Residents of Central Aceh to Bener Meriah districts are faced with a logistics crisis after a week of floods and landslides hit the area.
The cutting off of land routes to this area means this area is completely isolated and can only be penetrated by air.
Moreover, in Bener Meriah, the number of refugees reaching 10 thousand people is threatened with starvation. This also happens in severe and isolated areas such as parts of North Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, Gayo Lues and Aceh Singkil.

Bener Meriah Regent Tagore Abubakar said logistics stocks in the area could only last for the next 2 days.If help does not arrive, it is feared that there will be more casualties.
“If we still don’t receive food logistics assistance in the next 2 days, then the current food stock will not be able to meet all the residents’ needs,” said Tagore in his statement, Sunday (30/11).
Meanwhile, the Regent of Central Aceh, Haili Yoga, said that his region was facing an urgent logistical and humanitarian crisis.
This is because the assistance they requested from the Aceh Government and the Center never came.Meanwhile, victims began to fall.
“Isolated areas now lack logistics. Plus, all fuel stocks in our district have run out. This is really hampering efforts to mobilize rescue teams,” Haili Yoga told reporters, Sunday (30/11).
The Central Aceh District Government also expressed frustration regarding efforts to send aid from outside the region.
It is reported that the much-needed aid logistics that have arrived in Banda Aceh have not yet succeeded in reaching Central Aceh.
“We continue to ask for logistical assistance to arrive immediately. We received information that an attempt by a helicopter flight to distribute aid today failed to land in the Central Aceh region,” he said.
A resident of Tanah Pasir District, North Aceh, Amran, said that the condition of the residents in the refugee camps was quite worrying because the logistics had not yet arrived.
He is worried that the number of victims will continue to fall, not because of floods but hunger.
“Don’t let the surviving residents die not because they were swept away by the flood, but from starvation,” said Anwar.
The latest data compiled by BNPB as of Saturday (29/11) at 17.40 WIB, recorded that floods and landslides in the Aceh region had caused 47 deaths, 51 people missing and 8 injured.
Most of the victims came from Bener Meriah, Southeast Aceh and Central Aceh.Death victims were also found in Pidie Jaya, Bireun, Gayo Lues, Subulussalam and Lhokseumawe.
Meanwhile, the number of refugees affected in the Aceh region reached tens of thousands.
BNPB meanwhile is still continuing to try to reach locations affected by floods and landslides in the Aceh Province region.Today, Sunday (30/11), logistical assistance and equipment were sent by sea.
This aid departed from Ulee Lhueu Harbor in Banda Aceh using the Express Bahari ship.It is planned that aid via this sea route will reach five regions, namely Lhokseumawe, North Aceh, East Aceh, Langsa City and Aceh Tamiang.
The total aid weighing 27 tonnes will stop at two locations, namely Krengkuku Port to reach North Aceh, Lhouksumawe and Kuala Langsa Port to reach Langsa City, East Aceh and Aceh Tamiang.
