KPK’s OTT is rampant, Bahlil Instructs Golkar Cadres to Obey the Rules

Bahlil Lahadalia instructed all his cadres, especially those who are regional heads, to obey the rules.
Bahlil conveyed this following the recent number of regional heads caught in sting operations (OTT) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
“Well, regarding instructions to party cadres, we from the Golkar Party DPP always ask all cadres, both in the executive and legislative, to work according to the rules. Obey the rules,” said Bahlil at the Golkar Party National Meeting in Jakarta, Saturday (20/12).

Bahlil also reminded his cadres not to take actions or make decisions that deviated and did not comply with the rules.
“There must be no decision or action that deviates from the rules. That is the party’s instructions to party cadres wherever they are, who have held positions, trusting the people, both in the executive and legislative branches,” said Bahlil.
It is known that the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) carried out silent operations against a number of regional heads in the last few months.Last November, Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko was caught by the KPK OTT along with 12 other people.
Sugi is suspected of being involved in the alleged bribery case for office management, work projects at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr.Harjono Ponorogo as well as other money receipts within the Ponorogo Regency Government, East Java.
Still in the same month, the KPK arrested Riau Governor Abdul Wahid in an OTT.Agus was allegedly named a corruption suspect related to the fee allocation for increasing the work unit budget at the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, Settlement Areas and Land Service (PUPR PKPP).
Then in December it was the turn of Central Lampung Regent Ardito Wijaya who was caught in the KPK’s silent operation.Ardito is suspected of being involved in a case of alleged corruption in the Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) as well as receiving gratuities within the Central Lampung Regency Government.
Most recently, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) arrested the Regent of Bekasi, Ade Kuswara Kunang.Ade has also been named a suspect in an alleged bribery case related to a debt bond project in his area.
