He said, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) is currently investigating the flow of money (kickback) amounting to IDR 1.5 billion which was allegedly received by a suspect from an ASN element of the Ministry of Health named Hendrik Permana (HP).
“We suspect that the money was also channeled to several parties, but we are still investigating to whom, when and where the money was distributed,” said Asep at the Red and White House, Jakarta, Monday (24/11).
“Later, God willing, when the time comes and there is information that says there is a flow of money or a flow of orders from the top manager at the Ministry of Health, of course we will also summon the person concerned for questioning,” he continued.
In cases of corruption in the procurement of goods and services or government projects, explained Asep, there are usually two main indicators that investigators track, namely the flow of money (follow the money) and the flow of orders.
He said, bribes are rarely given directly to the top manager or highest leader of an agency.
“So, check from the bottom up, from the bottom first, from the recipients, ASN employees, then up to the Director General and others,” said the one-star police general.
