attended the inauguration of a number of hotels in Samjiyon, North Korea’s northern mountainous region, last weekend.

) reported on Tuesday (23/12) that Kim came with his daughter, Kim Ju Ae, to check out the new hotels.

Kim and Ju Ae reportedly toured hotel rooms, recreation rooms, commercial spaces, and catering facilities.

According to reports

, Kim praised the resort as “a clear testament to the ever-evolving ideals of the North Korean people as well as proof of our country’s development potential.”

calling the hotel shows that North Korean society is the “most dignified” in the world, which has nothing to envy for anything in the world.
Analysts say that the inauguration of these hotels appears to be aimed at the government to encourage foreign tourists.
