Singapore
on Wednesday (19/11) ahead of delivering a speech

Forum, Friday (21/11).
“Thank you to the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Suryo Pratomo, for the warm welcome in Singapore,” he wrote on the X @jokowi account, Wednesday (19/11).
“I am here to take part in the Bloomberg New Economy Forum, an important space for world leaders to discuss technology, geopolitical dynamics and sustainable economics,” explained Jokowi.

Jokowi will attend the opening session of the forum on the first day.He is also scheduled to take part in a number of other agendas during the event from 19 November 2025 to 21 November 2025.
The Bloomberg New Economy Forum 2025 carries the theme ‘Thriving in an Age of Extremes’.The series of programs includes plenary sessions, group discussions and networking opportunities between global leaders and world economic stakeholders.
After completing his two terms as president of Indonesia, Jokowi was trusted to become a member of the Bloomberg New Economy Advisory Board.This new position requires him to provide input on the direction of the forum discussions.
Before arriving in Singapore, Jokowi explained that the forum would focus on various global economic challenges in the future.
“Here we will discuss the challenges ahead for the economy and maybe if there are ideas regarding what the new economy will look like in the future and I think economic intelligence is very important,” said Jokowi when met at his residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Friday (26/9).
In the forum, there are 50 world figures who will be speakers.One of them is Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
In addition, there are former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former US Trade Secretary Gina Raimondo, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, and Rwandan Minister of Trade and Industry Prudence Sebahizi.
There were also several figures from the business world, such as Google DeepMind COO Lila Ibrahim, Co-Founder and Chairman of The Nuclear Company Patrick Maloney, and Mastercard Chair of the Board Merit E. Janow.
