Meanwhile, Herdman has a new name.The British coach is a former coach of the Canadian national team.

News about this was raised by Sky Sports journalist, Dharmesh Sheth.It is even claimed that Herdman has been interviewed regarding the possibility of filling the vacant position of Indonesian national team coach after parting ways with Patrick Kluivert.
“Liverpool coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst is being considered for the position of Indonesian coach,” wrote Sheth on social media X.
“Former Canada coach John Herdman has interviewed for the position.”
Herdman most recently worked as a formation engineer for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer.Before that, he managed the Canadian national team at the 2022 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Bronckhorst previously coached a number of clubs in the Netherlands, Scotland and Türkiye, most recently becoming Arne Slot’s assistant at Liverpool.
PSSI has not yet released the names of the prospective coaches for the Indonesian National Team.According to the Chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji, this was done because the coach who was approached was still attached to the club and national team.
