) is projected to weaken in trading Wednesday (24/12).
MNC Sekuritas Technical Analyst Herditya Wicaksana sees that the stock index movement in yesterday’s trading is still at risk of further correction.
Technically, he estimates that the index will weaken today to test the 8,464-8,560 area to close the remaining price gap.

“However, if the worst scenario occurs, the correction could be deeper with the JCI potentially dropping to around 8,000,” said Herditya in his daily research.
With this sentiment, Herditya projects that the JCI will move in the support range of 8,553, 8,493 and resistance of 8,714, 8,821 today.He also recommended a number of shares, namely MBMA, MDKA, SMBR and TINS.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova saw that the stock index closed again below the 20-day moving average in yesterday’s trading, even though it had penetrated the level of 8,657.
According to him, this condition indicates that the penetration is not yet strong, so the market is still prone to weakening.
“Under these conditions, JCI has the opportunity to continue its correction to test the 8,510-8,550 area,” said Ivan in his daily research.
He also predicts that the JCI will move at support levels of 8,493, 8,424, 8,361 and 8,255 and resistance levels of 8,742, 8,877 and 8,941 today.Ivan also recommended a number of shares, namely AMRT and BBNI.
JCI closed at level 8,584 on Tuesday (23/12) afternoon.The stock index weakened 61.06 points or minus 0.71 percent from previous trading.
Quoting RTI Infokom, investors made transactions amounting to IDR 24.45 trillion with the number of shares traded amounting to 41.48 billion shares.
At yesterday’s close, 275 shares rose, 373 corrected, and 157 remained stagnant.
