Jason Donovan Yusuf and Masniari Wolf opened their voices after successfully winning the gold medal
SEA Games 2025
on Friday (12/12).
Swimming contributed two gold medals in the match which took place at the Sport Authority of Thailand Swimming Pool in Bangkok, Friday (12/12).
Jason Donovan Yusuf, a swimmer from Indonesia, once again showed an extraordinary performance in the backstroke event which is his specialty.Jason performed impressively in the final round of the men’s 50 meter backstroke with the fastest time of 25.36 seconds.

Jason was ahead of Singaporean swimmer Zheng Wen Quah and Indonesian swimmer I Gede Siman Sudartawa.This gold is Jason’s second gold after previously being the fastest in the men’s 100m backstroke with a best time of 55.08 seconds.
Speaking to hitclubapk3Indonesia TV, Jason admitted that he had instilled a sense of self-confidence since morning.
“I’ve been confident since morning. Because yesterday was pretty good. It gave me a good time. So in the morning I just enjoyed it more and this afternoon I also enjoyed it more. So I wasn’t too nervous,” said Jason.
“I dedicate this gold to my family, of course my father and mother at home with my friends at the club as well as my other friends. Most especially to my friends at the club with my father and mother,” added Jason.
Indonesia’s second gold in swimming was presented by Masniari Wolf in the women’s 50 m backstroke.Masniari secured gold for Indonesia with a time of 28.80 seconds.
This is Masniari’s third gold after winning gold in the women’s 50 m backstroke in the two previous editions of the SEA Games.
“I will now try to focus on improving my performance, focus on progress. Try to get the best time and hope to get a medal at the Asian Games,” said Masniari.
The Indonesian swimming team is still trying to add more medals because swimming will still compete in a number of events until December 15.
