Janice said that the Ministry of Youth and Sports had also presented a number of programs, which she hoped could be realized soon.

Erick praised Janice for recently winning two titles at the Chennai Open 2025. Janice won the women’s singles and women’s doubles categories.
“Nice to meet Janice Tjen who succeeded in becoming Women’s Singles champion at the WTA 250 Chennai Open 2025 in India,” wrote Erick.
“Janice, who is still 23 years old, is currently ranked 53rd in the WTA and has big dreams of continuing to achieve achievements in tennis,” continued Erick.
Erick ensured that his ministry would always support athletes with great potential like Janice to be able to appear at the Olympics.

Janice made a proud achievement by winning two titles at the 2025 Chennai Open on November 2 2025.
First, Janice Tjen managed to emerge as champion of the 2025 Chennai Open in the women’s singles event which took place at the SDAT Tennis Stadium, Chennai, India, on Sunday (2/11) evening WIB.
Janice secured the title after beating Australian Kimberly Birrell in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-3.
Apart from the women’s singles sector, Janice Tjen managed to win the title in the women’s doubles at the Chennai Open 2025. This time she was paired with a colleague from Indonesia, namely Aldila Sutjiadi.
Janice’s victory at the Chennai Open 2025 has raised Janice’s WTA ranking to 53rd in the world.This is a big jump because at the start of the year, Janice was still outside the top 400.
Janice started participating in WTA category tournaments in the second semester.Previously, he was mostly active in ITF category tournaments.
