Janice Tjen
aiming for a position in the top 20 in the world in next year’s tennis tournament.
Janice said that currently she is focused on preparing herself to take part in tournaments in 2026. Janice Tjen will maximize this one month break to prepare herself and recover so that she can be in 100 percent condition at the start of the year.
He hopes to reach rank 30, even top 20 in the world.This target is certainly an interesting target to realize.

“Hopefully next year we can be in the top 30 or top 20. And of course next year we can play the full WTA calendar,” said Janice in a talk show with myBCA in Jakarta, Saturday (15/11).
In Indonesia, Yayuk Basuki is the highest ranked tennis player of all time, namely 19th in the WTA.He won this position in October 1997.
When asked how confident Janice was in being able to surpass Yayuk, she was optimistic.Janice admits that this is not easy but she will try to make it happen.
“Not bad (I’m sure I can surpass it). You have to believe, and my personal target is to be the best I can,” he said.
“And with exposure now, opponents can access my videos, can see what I look like, of course in the future it won’t be easy but hopefully it can be achieved,” he continued.
Janice Tjen is rising in the world of tennis.He was recently ranked 53rd in the world after winning the 2025 Chennai Open.
In fact, at the start of the year, Janice was still outside the top 400.
Janice started participating in WTA category tournaments in the second semester.Previously, he was mostly active in ITF category tournaments.
Her success in reaching the second round of the US Open is one of Janice’s important achievements this year.Apart from that, she was also runner up at the Sao Paulo Open, which is a WTA 250 category tournament.
