Israeli occupation soldiers shoot dead a teenager

An Israeli security official said the 17-year-old died after driving the car and driving towards the checkpoint where the soldiers were located.The military said the driver “accelerated” his vehicle towards the troops, causing them to open fire.

However, in its initial statement, the military said two ‘terrorists’ had died before later correcting that only one driver was involved in the incident.
Apart from the driver, another Palestinian who was not involved, who was later discovered to be 55 years old, was also shot.An Israeli security official who spoke on condition of anonymity said the victim was a passerby who was at the location at the time of the incident.
The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, identified the victim as Ziad Naim Abu Dawood, a city cleaner who was killed while working.Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said the teenager who died was Ahmed Khalil Al-Rajabi.
