Those detained in Israel are placed in detention facilities surrounded by crocodiles.
Reporting from Israeli media, Channel 13, Ben-Gvir last week presented a proposal to the Head of Prison Services, Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi, regarding Palestinians who are prisoners in Israel.
In the proposal, he proposed that Palestinians be placed in detention facilities located in Hamat Gader in northern Israel.

In his proposal, Ben-Gvir requested that a high-security prison be built there, while adding the presence of crocodiles to tighten security, Anadolu Agency reported.
“The Israel Prison Service is reviewing an unusual proposal put forward by the Minister of National Security (Itamar Ben-Gvir), which calls for the construction of a detention center for security prisoners surrounded by crocodiles to prevent them from attempting to escape,” Channel 13 reported.
This proposal was submitted when the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, was scheduled to vote on a bill (RUU) also proposed by Ben-Gvir regarding the execution of Palestinian prisoners suspected of being involved in attacks against Israel.
The Knesset Plenary Assembly approved the bill in its first discussion on November 11.It requires approval in the second and third discussions for the regulation to become law.
Israel currently holds more than 9,300 Palestinians, including children and women, in Tel Aviv prisons.Human rights organizations (HAM) report that many Palestinian prisoners have died due to torture, starvation and not being given access to healthcare while in Israeli prisons.
Violence against Palestinian prisoners has increased since Israel launched its brutal aggression into the Gaza Strip in October 2023. That aggression has killed more than 70,900 Palestinians, the majority of them children and women.
More than 171,200 Palestinians were also injured as a result of the aggression.Millions of Palestinians are also now refugees.
