uncovering an attack
Israel
in the southern region of the country, one fatality occurred on Saturday (22/11).
The Israeli attack is said to have targeted a vehicle in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, South Lebanon.Meanwhile, another attack using a grenade by an Israeli drone in the southern town of Shaqra injured five people.
However, Israel has not commented on the incident.

The Lebanese government’s National News Agency, as quoted by AFP, identified the man who died as Kamel Reda Qarnabash.He became the victim while driving his vehicle in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah when the attack occurred.
The Israeli army previously said their attack on Saturday had killed a Hezbollah member in Froun, South Lebanon.
“In a targeted attack, (Israeli soldiers) eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in the Froun region in southern Lebanon,” the military said in a statement, Friday (21/11).
They accused Hezbollah members of carrying out further terror attacks against Israel and its troops.
Meanwhile, Lebanon accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement agreed in November 2024, by continuing attacks on their territory.
On the other hand, Israel also said Hezbollah was rebuilding its military capabilities, and accused them of violating the terms of the ceasefire.
According to the Health Ministry, more than 330 people have been killed in Lebanon and 945 injured since the ceasefire.An Israeli attack a few days earlier, on the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon, killed 13 people.
Days later, Israel admitted it had targeted terrorists from the Palestinian militant group Hamas, which is allied with Hezbollah, in an attack on the camp.
A high school in the camp said on its Facebook page that two of its students had died, posting pictures of two teenage boys.The United States has attempted to pressure the Lebanese government to get Hezbollah to hand over its weapons, which the group has so far refused to do.
