Israel’s Arabic-speaking military spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said Abdel Hay Zaqut, a finance official for Hamas’ armed wing, was killed in a joint operation by the Israeli military and the Shin Bet two weeks ago.

Zaqut died while riding in a vehicle with Raad Saad, the head of Hamas weapons production who was previously reported killed in an Israeli attack in the Tel Al-Hawa district, southwest of Gaza City, on December 13.
