attacked the village of Beit Jinn in Damascus,
Syria
, on Friday (28/11).
Syrian state media reported that the attack left two children dead, and forced dozens of families to flee to safer nearby areas.
The dead were then taken to the Golan National Hospital in the town of al-Salam in Quneitra.

Reported by Al Jazeera, Israeli drones are also said to be flying around in the skies of Syria.The Syrian Civil Defense also said it could not enter Beit Jinn to rescue the wounded, because the Israeli military continued to target every movement.
Local sources also confirmed that several Syrians were killed and others injured in Israeli artillery and missile attacks on Beit Jinn.Clashes between residents and Israeli troops were also inevitable after the invasion.
Al Jazeera journalist from Syria, Osama bin Javaid, said most of the victims of Israel’s latest attacks were civilians.
“There is no presence of Hezbollah or any militia in the area, they are just farmers and shepherds, they have nothing to do with the resistance against Israel. That is why the attack shocked the people there,” said Osama bin Javaid.
In its statement, Israel claimed its operation in the Syrian region was “complete” and all suspects had been arrested or “disappeared”.Israel also said its troops were still deployed in the region and “will continue to operate against all threats”.
Syria’s Foreign Ministry said “a criminal attack was carried out by an Israeli occupation army patrol in Beit Jinn.”
“The targeting of the occupying forces on the city of Beit Jinn with brutal and deliberate shelling, after their failed attack, constitutes a true war crime,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, as per Al Jazeera.
Since Israel expanded its population in southern Syria and the fall of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime in December 2024, Israel’s military attacks have become bolder and harsher.
After Israeli troops entered the city, the area already witnessed gunfire involving Israeli military helicopters.
