is accelerating missile production and reportedly could fire up to 2,000 missiles at once in a conflict with
Israel

Senior researcher at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Behnam Ben Taleblu, also has a similar assessment regarding Iran’s efforts to boost missile production.According to him, this country learned a lot from the events of the 12 Day War.

Taleblu then warned that Ran’s efforts to focus on accelerating missile production could trigger the next regional conflict.
“It is for this reason that the next possible conflict between Israel and Iran will most likely be fueled by missile, not nuclear, concerns,” Taleblu said.
In recent days, a number of Iranian officials have claimed that this country had more and more sophisticated missile capacity even before the 12 Day War last June.
Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh claimed Iran was producing new missiles faster than before.
“Iran’s defense production has increased both in quantity and quality compared to before the 12-day war imposed by Israel in June,” Nasirzadeh said.
He also said Iran’s defense industry was reviving and growing.
Likewise, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi praised the restoration and improvement of this country’s weapons after Israel bombarded them in June.
“Iran’s current missile power far exceeds that of the 12 Day War,” Araghchi said.
He then said, “The enemy in the last 12 days’ war [Israel] failed to achieve all its objectives and was defeated.”
The 12 Day War refers to the war between Israel, which was assisted by the United States and Iran, in mid-June.
At that time, Israel claimed that it had succeeded in destroying Iran’s air defense system and targeting the missile system.The US, meanwhile, declared success in striking a number of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
However, the Israeli and US claims were denied by Iranian authorities.Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei even said that destroying Iran’s nuclear sites was just a dream.
