Arif did not say much when asked whether he would be appointed head of BRIN.He only admitted that he had received an invitation to the inauguration.

“Yes, we were called earlier to be present at the palace at half past three. Yes, we complied with the invitation from the Cabinet Secretary. The Cabinet Secretary invited us at around half past one to immediately go to the Palace for a meeting,” said Arif.
Arif did not specify what assignment Prabowo would give him.
He only said that he would get an assignment from Prabowo in a field that was within his competence.
“Yes, he said that later, Mr President, there will be an assignment in the field that I have been involved in,” he said.
Arif also asked the media crew to wait after the event was finished.
“I can’t explain yet. After the event is over, maybe we’ll meet once,” he said.
