Indra Sjafri confirmed the selection of 23 players for the squad
SEA Games 2025

The list of 23 names of U-23 National Team players was officially announced on Thursday (27/11) evening.The squad composition consists of players from Super League clubs and the diaspora who compete in Europe.
Of the 23 players, four of them play abroad, namely Marselino Ferdinan, Ivar Jenner, Mauro Zijlstra and Dion Markx.

“This decision was taken after a thorough evaluation based on data available during the training camp in October and November as well as observations of players while playing in the Super League which was carried out with the coaching staff and team performance,” said Indra Sjafri on the official PSSI website.
Indra Sjafri explained that eight players had to be sent back to their home clubs because the maximum limit was only 23 names that could be registered.
“On this occasion we would like to thank PSSI for trying to ensure that overseas players can take part in the 2025 SEA Games even though it is not on the FIFA calendar.”
“Thank you also to the I.League and the clubs who have helped in forming the 2025 SEA Games National Team squad and determining these 23 players,” said Indra Sjafri.
At the 2025 SEA Games, Indonesia is in group C with the Philippines, Singapore and Myanmar.Indonesia will start its struggle against Singapore on December 5.
Before taking part in the 2025 SEA Games, Garuda Muda played international trial matches against India and Mali.Ivar Jenner and his friends are scheduled to fly to Thailand on Friday (28/11).
