.Rosi admitted that he was treated like a criminal after being expelled by the Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO) from Thailand.
“I was treated like a criminal. There were dozens of fully armed police carrying sniffer dogs and patrol cars who wanted to ambush me and take me to the local police station,” said Rosi Nurasjati in an official statement on Monday (15/12), as quoted by Antara.

Quoted from Antara, the local police planned to arrest Rosi and take his passport.
This is based on CCTV footage which shows Rosi often being in the area around the kickboxing venue.
Responding to this, Rosi explained his version of the chronology of events. He said the incident started on Saturday (13/12) at around 19.00 local time.
At that time, Rosi came to the Lasantel Suvarnabhumi Hotel area to deliver the needs of Indonesian kickboxing athletes in the form of vitamins and fruit.
However, when he arrived at the location, Rosi admitted that he was immediately intercepted and ambushed by dozens of Thai police officers. The situation was tense before finally the President and Secretary General of WAKO arrived at the scene.
During the meeting, Rosi was asked to sign a written statement requiring him to leave Bangkok City no later than Sunday (14/12).WAKO also issued serious threats if Rosi did not fulfill this request.
If they refuse to leave Thailand, WAKO is said to be disqualifying Indonesian kickboxing athletes from the 2025 SEA Games, which has now entered the quarter-final phase.
The impact of this problem was also felt by Indonesian kickboxing coach Sadarmawati Icen Simbolon.Icen’s ID card and passport were threatened to be withdrawn by WAKO as part of the pressure on Rosi.
Rosi said that Icen’s identity would only be returned if he was willing to sign a statement and follow the deportation process from Bangkok.
“Yes, I will be returned if I follow the deportation from the President of the WAKO Asian Confederation. I am being held hostage. If I don’t return to Jakarta then Icen will no longer be able to accompany the athlete,” said Rosi.
