experienced a significant decrease of up to 40.9 percent compared to the previous year’s edition.
Indonesia Masters is a Super 500 category tournament which will be held on January 20-25.This tournament is one of the initial series of tournaments in the 2026 edition of the BWF Tour.
Referring to ticket prices that have been released, there has been a significant price reduction.For example, the normal VIP class final match is now priced at IDR 650 thousand.This price is much lower than last year’s price tag which reached IDR 1.1 million for the same category.Thus, there was a decrease of 40.9 percent.

The same thing happened on the first day.The normal price on the first day last year was IDR 110 thousand.Meanwhile, for this year’s edition, the normal first day price is IDR 50 thousand.
Overall, all ticket categories at the Indonesia Masters 2026 experienced quite significant numbers compared to the previous edition.This is certainly expected to have an impact on the passion of the audience.
In the 2025 edition, the Istora GBK stands looked empty and not as full as usual.Apart from the fact that the performance of Indonesian players is declining, the ticket price factor certainly cannot be ruled out as a determining factor.
