The attitude of Indonesia and Italy is said to be different from most other countries which are willing to join only if Hamas is disarmed.
The newspaper also reported that United States (US) officials were scheduled to hold a meeting in the capital Doha, Qatar, with countries willing to help form the ISF.
Prior to this, Türkiye stated that it was ready to deploy troops to Gaza.However, Israel objected to Turkish troops there.Türkiye is a country that has good relations with Hamas.
For now, Turkey is expected to only participate in the third phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan, namely the reconstruction phase, without armed troops.
