The Indonesian team has collected the most medals in sports
badminton
in
SEA Games 2025
.
There are seven gold medals up for grabs in badminton, consisting of men’s and women’s team teams, as well as men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
Sunday (14/12) was the day for the individual event finals as well as the last day for badminton at the 2025 SEA Games.

Indonesia first secured one gold in the men’s team event.The squad led by captain Sabar Karyaman Gutama won 3-0 over Malaysia.The victory of Alwi Farhan, Sabar/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Moh.Zaki Ubaidillah bore golden fruit.
After that, the second gold in badminton was confirmed after Alwi and Ubed won in the semifinal match, bringing the all Indonesian final.In the top match, Alwi won 13-21, 21-8 and 21-12 over Ubed.
Gold continuation in the tepok bulu sport came after Sabar/Reza became champions in the men’s doubles event.Sabar/Reza won 21-14, 21-17 over the Malaysian pair, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik.
Indonesia won three golds, the same as Thailand which also collected three golds in badminton through the women’s team, mixed doubles and women’s singles sectors.
The Red and White Team won silver over the White Elephant Country.Indonesia secured three silvers from the women’s team team, Febriana Dwipuji Amalia/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Ubed.
Meanwhile, Thailand only has two silverware in the women’s singles and mixed doubles sectors.
Apart from that, Indonesia also has four bronze medals from Putri Kusuma Wardani, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, and Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum.
