Andi Amran Sulaiman directly leads the national donation movement for victims of natural disasters in Sumatra.The humanitarian action which was held in the Hall of Building F of the Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday (2/12), took place openly and at real time.
The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Food Agency (Bapanas), as well as agricultural sector business partners.
In just one hour, Minister of Agriculture Amran’s invitation succeeded in raising around IDR 75.85 billion.

“We will accept whatever amount. This is all of our good intentions to help the people,” said Minister of Agriculture Amran.
In his direction, Amran emphasized that social solidarity is not a ceremony, but rather the nation’s moral calling.He called this disaster a humanitarian test that moved the hearts of many people.
“The red and white are calling! Our brothers and sisters have been hit by a disaster, and as children of the nation we are obliged to lend a hand,” he stressed.
Minister of Agriculture Amran also reminded that business success should create a culture of sharing, especially for those who are vulnerable.
“To everyone, especially partners, if your business wants to progress, be diligent in giving, especially to the poor, orphans and those affected by disasters,” he said.
