MNC Sekuritas Technical Analyst Herditya Wicaksana estimates that the stock index will enter a correction phase with the potential to weaken to the 8,464-8,560 area today to close
gaps.
If the pressure continues, he said, the correction could continue deeper into the 8,000 range.

“We estimate that the JCI is at the beginning

With this sentiment, Herditya projects that the JCI will move in a range

8,714, 8,821 today.He also recommended a number of shares, namely ADRO, BRIS, JPFA, and TOWR.
Meanwhile, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst Ivan Rosanova said the stock index has the opportunity to continue strengthening and test the 8,742 level if it is able to move above 8,704 today.
However, if it is still stuck below this level, correction pressure has the potential to continue.
“JCI will test resistance at 8,742 if it manages to strengthen above 8,704, while the correction could continue if it is still below that level,” said Ivan in his daily research.
He also predicts that the JCI will move at level
support
8,493, 8,361, and 8,255 and
resistance
8,742, 8,877, and 8,941 today.Ivan also recommended a number of stocks, namely AADI, ANTM, MBMA, MEDC, and PGEO.
JCI closed at level 8,686 on Tuesday (16/12) afternoon.The stock index strengthened 36.80 points or up 0.43 percent from previous trading.
Quoting RTI Infokom, investors made transactions amounting to IDR 29.58 trillion with the number of shares traded amounting to 49.75 billion shares.
At yesterday’s close, 355 stocks rose, 296 corrected, and 146 stagnated.
