Indonesian Stock Exchange (

) prohibits cancellation of orders
shares
over a certain period of time (
non-cancellation period
).
This policy takes effect starting Monday (15/12).With this policy, orders that have been entered cannot be changed and/or canceled during the Pre-Opening Session (
pre-opening
) and pre-closing session (
pre-closing
).

This is BEI’s effort to maintain the quality of transactions in the capital market.

“Implementation

aims to minimize potential practices
spoofing
or manipulating orders at crucial hours, especially before the opening and closing of trading,” he said in an official statement, Monday (15/12).
Jeffrey added implementation

provide more protection to investors, so that the price formation process can be more credible, fair and transparent.
This policy is implemented based on Regulation Number II-A concerning Equity Securities Trading which has been implemented starting April 8 2025.
He also confirmed that IDX had requested a series of tests and technical preparations with Exchange Members and local and foreign Exchange Licensees before implementing the policy.
Apart from that, IDX has in parallel carried out outreach to increase awareness and collaborated with Exchange Members to convey information regarding the implementation of the Non-Cancellation Period to their respective customers.
This step was taken to ensure that this implementation can take place optimally, and that trading operations for each Exchange Member can run smoothly.

is one of BEI’s strategic programs in 2025 in an effort to provide more protection to investors.With this implementation, IDX hopes to improve the quality, transparency and integrity of price formation.
