Of the 15 groups who can use free public transportation, one of them is private employees who hold Jakarta Worker Cards.

Private employees holding Jakarta Worker Cards must fulfill a number of requirements.
First, have a maximum salary equal to 1.15 times the provincial minimum wage or in accordance with the provincial minimum wage provisions.With the Jakarta UMP being around IDR 5.3 million, the maximum salary that meets the criteria is IDR 6.2 million.
The Jakarta Worker Card is a policy program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in order to improve the welfare of workers or laborers by reducing transportation, food and education costs for the children of DKI Jakarta workers.
Here’s how to get a Jakarta Worker Card as a condition for using free public transportation
The administrative registration requirements that workers must prepare are as follows:
1. Photocopy of identity card (KTP)
2. Photocopy of family card (KK)
3. Photocopy of taxpayer identification number (NPWP)
4. Photocopy of pay slip
5. Certificate of active work from the company

The KPJ application mechanism is as follows:
-Applicants register through the Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) of DKI Jakarta Province or the Sub-Department (Sudin) in each region of DKI Jakarta Province.
-The DKI Jakarta Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office verifies the submitted application data.
-Applicants open an account at Bank DKI (minimum deposit IDR 50,000).
-The DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Department together with Bank DKI will distribute cards at predetermined points.
