The Indonesian U-17 national team ended the competition in Group H by finishing third. In the competition for the best third place standings, Fadly Alberto Hengga and friends were perched in ninth position.
This position is actually outside the zone of the eight team tickets that can qualify via the best third place route. However, the situation could change because Paraguay and Saudi Arabia, who are above Indonesia, will play today, Tuesday (11/11).
To qualify for the top 32, Indonesia must hope that Paraguay and Saudi Arabia, who both have three points, will suffer a crushing defeat against their opponents.Likewise, Uganda and Chile, which are competitors, even though they have only won one point, must achieve negative results.
Currently, Indonesia has a goal difference of minus five.Saudi Arabia and Paraguay have a goal difference of zero, while Uganda and Chile have only scored one point.
Thus, Paraguay and Saudi Arabia must lose by a minimum difference of six goals and Uganda and Chile lose or draw.If that happens then the Indonesian U-17 National Team will be able to win a ticket to qualify through the best third place route because they have a better goal difference than Paraguay and Saudi Arabia.
In today’s final match, Paraguay will face Ireland in Group J, Saudi Arabia will face Mali in Group L. Meanwhile, Uganda will face France and Chile will meet Canada in Group K.
