Spokesperson for the Aceh Disaster Management Task Force, Murthalamuddin, stated that Pining Gayo Lues was one of the areas most difficult to reach since the first day of the disaster.

He explained that distributing aid to Pining was a top priority because the area could only be accessed by air.”Pining has been one of the most difficult points to reach since the first day of the disaster.
“Today, aid managed to arrive using a helicopter,” he added.At the location, TNI personnel also appeared to be actively assisting in the aid distribution process.
Casualties Continue to Increase
Meanwhile, the Hydrometeorological Disaster Emergency Management Command Post (Posko) released the latest data regarding the number of victims of the hydrometeorological disaster that hit Aceh.
Head of the Hydrometeorological Disaster Emergency Response Command Post, M. Nasir, confirmed that the number of fatalities had increased to 96 people as of Sunday (30/11) at 16.14 WIB.
“The amount of data coming in is currently increasing because information channels are starting to be connected. We hope that the number of fatalities will not continue to increase,” said M. Nasir after an evaluation meeting at the Aceh Governor’s Office.
Data on victims and impacts of the hydrometeorological disaster that hit 18 districts/cities in Aceh includes:
– Casualties: 96 people
– Light Injuries: 1,284 people
– Seriously Injured: 319 people
– Missing: 113 people
– Heads of Affected Families: 89,959 families
– Heads of Families Displaced: 62,000 Families
– Refugee Locations: 514 points
– Affected Areas: 1,286 gampong/villages in 242 sub-districts.
