The heirs
national hero
entitled to get
allowance
amounting to IDR 57 million per year.
Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf alias Gus Ipul said the allowance was a form of support from the government for the heirs.
“Respect, so that families can continue to build the spirit of the heroes. We provide support of IDR 57 million per year,” said Gus Ipul at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday (10/11).

This rule is contained in the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 78 of 2018 concerning Requirements and Procedures and the Amount of Continuous Allowances for Fighters, Independence Pioneers and Families of National Heroes.
Based on these regulations, heirs of hero families are entitled to an allowance of IDR 50 million per year.
“The amount of ongoing benefits to the families of national heroes is IDR 50 million per year,” wrote Article 19.
On this day, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto awarded the title of national hero to 10 figures.
The awarding ceremony was held at the State Palace, Jakarta, which was attended by the heirs who also represented the figures to receive the title.
At this year’s award, there were two former Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia who received the title of national hero.They are the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soeharto and the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Abdurrahman Wahid alias Gus Dur.
Then former RPKAD Leader General (HOR) (Ret.) Sarwo Edhie Wibowo.Then there was also the activist and labor figure who was killed during the New Order era, Marsinah.
Then, former Minister of Foreign Affairs who is also a Professor at the Unpad Faculty of Law, Mochtar Kusumaatmadja.
