) Dadan Hindayana revealed the number of victims
poisoning
as a result of the free nutritious meal program (
MBG
) has reached 11,640 in all regions of Indonesia as of November or 11 months since the program started in January 2025.
This data was conveyed by Dadan at a working meeting at Commission IX DPR, Wednesday (12/11).Dadan explained that the number of victims was an accumulation of 211 poisoning cases.
“Regarding food poisoning in Indonesia in general, the total number of incidents in Indonesia to date is 441, of which MBG contributed 211 incidents or approximately 48 percent,” said Dadan in his presentation.

Meanwhile, of the total number of victims, 636 were undergoing inpatient treatment, and 11,004 were receiving outpatient treatment.So the total number is 11,640 victims.
BGN recorded that the highest number of victims was in region two or Java with 7,925, followed by region three or east with 1,907 affected victims, and region one or Sumatra with 1,808 affected victims.
However, he said, there were differences in data from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), which recorded the number of hospitalized victims at 638 or a difference of two.Then, outpatient casualties reached 12,755.
“So the total based on the Ministry of Health’s report is 13,371 beneficiaries who experienced health problems as a result of the nutritious eating program,” he said.
Dadan explained that as of November, his party had produced a total of 1.8 billion portions of MBG throughout Indonesia.He made sure most of it went well.
“To date, we have produced a total of 1.8 billion portions of food. And thank God, most of them are going well,” he said.
